A fantastic, durable coating. I took off one star because I feel the marketing is a bit confusing. It says it works on windshields, but many professional detailers advise against putting this type of hard coating on a windshield due to potential wiper chatter. I stuck to the paint and plastic.
The gloss is a 10/10. The application process was mostly smooth. My only advice is to have very good lighting in your garage. High spots can be hard to see during the buffing stage if your lighting isn’t bright enough to show the haze properly.
It works great on plastic trim, restoring it to a deep black. I did notice it’s a bit harder to buff off on plastic than on paint. You have to be more careful to avoid streaks on textured surfaces.
The wet look is incredible. However, the “self-cleaning” properties might be a bit overstated. It definitely stays cleaner longer and is easier to wash, but you’ll still get a layer of road film that requires a contact wash to remove.
The protection is solid. I’m rating it 4 stars because only time will truly tell if it lasts the full 5 years. It’s been 3 months and it looks perfect, but 5 years is a very long time. The initial performance is definitely there, though.
